If you share our passion for the well-being of dogs, we invite you to join our project. Whether adopting, sponsoring or simply spreading our cause, your participation will strengthen our plight.
We can't promise to solve the problem completely, but we do promise to save dogs' lives, as many as possible. We depend exclusively on individual generosity, since we do not receive help from official organizations, companies or political parties.
All donations go entirely to the well-being of the dogs in our shelter.

OUR GOALS
The Work of Ubuntu Dogs
What we have achieved so far is to have our own land of 3300 M2, fenced, with access to water and independent electricity. We have a 35m2 home where we live with the dogs. Our goal is to continue increasing the spaces for dogs and be able to accommodate up to 20-30 animals.
To do this, we plan to buy several containers and set them up as comfortable homes for the dogs, also fencing the interior of the land, creating separate areas.
We hope to use social media to find suitable families for our dogs. We also want to raise awareness about animal abandonment and create an Ubuntu community with which we can speak out and end animal abuse.
Currently, we share our shelter with several dogs. Our commitment to them and to the shelter is unwavering, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We recognize that much remains to be done.

Every animal we rescue receives complete veterinary care, including tests, treatments, surgeries, microchipping and sterilization.

THE UBUNTU PHILOSOPHY
What does "Ubuntu" mean?
Ubuntu is an ancient African word meaning 'humanity to others', initially originating in South Africa, focused on the loyalty of people and the relationships between them. The word comes from the Zulu and Xhosa languages. The most common precepts of the Ubuntu philosophy say that if everyone wins you also win, and that humility and empathy are essential to achieve the common good, which in the end is also your own good. .
Cuenta la leyenda que un antropólogo propuso un juego a los niños de una tribu africana. Puso una cesta llena de frutas cerca de un árbol y le dijo a los niños que el juego consistía en que el primero que llegara a la cesta, ganaba todas las frutas. Cuando dio la señal para que corrieran, todos los niños se cogieron de las manos y corrieron juntos. Después, se sentaron en grupo a disfrutar del premio. Cuando el antropólogo les preguntó porqué habían jugado así si uno de ellos podía haber sido el único ganador de las frutas, le respondieron: “¡Ubuntu! ¿Cómo uno de nosotros podría estar feliz si todos los demás están tristes?” Ubuntu para nosotras significa soy feliz cuando todos somos felices.
